I use BMI, but the filter is built into Ensign's core program. Howard wrote some trick code that looks for bad ticks and removes them from the data feed as they come, or I think that's how it works. Regardless..I noticed a huge difference right away. It was 3-6 months ago when he installed the bad tick filter.
