Wow, digging around at the Thermo Electron site the first words to come to mind are: Evil Empire <gg> They juggle around companies that would make a circus performer envious. Looking at the TOC 10Q: Yes, VG Semicon is doing well, unfortunately it is a small percentage of the total company. Some other divisions are doing well too but as a group it's been about flat due to the drop off in spectroscopy demand (really?). Overall I wasn't impressed one way or the other. Looking at TMO it looks like the halcyon years were 92 to 96. JF
