Nice move in GCI (GNCMA) today. I recently signed up for GCI's cable service and switched my long-distance to GCI as part of the deal. Didn't even realize they also offer local service though. ALSK (ATU) was formerly a municipal utility. The voters unloaded it a few years ago, the second time it came up for a vote. An earlier vote to sell for a much better price was rejected.
