Today, Alaska Communications made its Nasdaq debut to little or almost no fanfare at all. This company is "The Phone Company" in Alaska - Their web site at atu.com describes the parent company, services, revenues as well as local services.
One thing that attracted me was that they are allowed to offer both local and long distance service - not just local as we have with the large wireline companies in the 48 states.
The only vague comparison I can make at this time is with TWTC - Times Warner Telecom as far as the initial offering.
I feel $14 is a very good entry point - Any feedback would be appreciated
