The new COO McDonnell is certainly a fast talking salesman, the interview on Radio Wall Street Internet was more of a sales pitch than anything else.

Basically he spat out the party line from San Antonio, claiming their product was unique, that there was no competition. He avoided a direct answer when asked if other competing products existed that might accomplish similar results

He admitted to not being a tech guy but then went on to claim that Data Race's product delivered a DSL like solution, two phone lines, without mentioning speed differences. He said they are introducing a broad band version of their product at a trade show soon. Hee hee.

He stated that the company is looking for strategic partners and claims be in negotiations at this time. (Sound familiar?)

He claimed that revenue will begin to increase within one quarter. (That won't take much to accomplish.) However he avoided a direct answer to a question about the amount of cash on hand and the burn rate, but did admit that the company will need to raise more capital for the big product roll out.

He stated that the heavy trading of the stock last week was a result of the market's excitement over the Vocalware press release (hee hee) and the interviewer said that the heavy trading was why they asked him to speak.

There was no discussion of the three year failure to sell their product. Basically lots of fluff was tossed around; telecommuting is the wave of the future etc., we've heard it all before. IMHO.
