Tom,

With this anything goes tech market is it very difficult to provide any rational explaination for the move in JBL other than all the other companies are also being bid up as more and more money flows to technology. My cost on JBL is $16.53 as of 3/18/98 and that wasn't the best price I could have purchased it at given the summer 1998 debacle. Glad you added in the high $40's but I thought that was a bit on the high side for my taste and I sold 1/2 my position in that area. (Of course I bought AMKR at $9 so I'm not crying in my beer).

All I can say is this market is scary. I honestly thought I had settled my transactions except for some minor window dressing in December, but this surge left me flatfooted (although 100+% invested) in its magnitude.

Net worth keeps getting better and better on my part also. Last count was 82% YTD after taxes. Of course this gain could get cut in half at any time IMO.
