I think you better listen again - this time with your hearing aid turned on.

>>>" more of a sales pitch than anything else."

Didn't sound like that to me.

>>>"Basically he spat out the party line from San Antonio, claiming their product was unique, that there was no competition. He avoided a direct answer when asked if other competing products existed that might accomplish similar results."

Bullshit, he handled that very well and certainly mentioned that there were other solutions but, and correctly, mentioned that there weren't any that worked exactly like VocalWare.

>>>"He admitted to not being a tech guy but then went on to claim that Data Race's product delivered a DSL like solution, two phone lines, without mentioning speed differences."

Again, you weren't listening. It was the interviewer that assumed he had little technical knowledge, McDOnnell admitted that he did have plent of technical knowledge and could sit down with any engineer on the subject but would try to keep the explanations on a very basic level, which he did.

>>>" ... he avoided a direct answer to a question about the amount of cash on hand and the burn rate, but did admit that the company will need to raise more capital for the big product roll out."

The question was begin with "I realize you're not the CFO" and he didn't avoid it at all, he replied with a very solid answer.

>>>"He stated that the heavy trading of the stock last week was a result of the market's excitement over the Vocalware press release (hee hee) and the interviewer said that the heavy trading was why they asked him to speak."

You got a better explanation? I don't even think McDOnnel's was right. It was indeed the volume activity that caused the interview request though.
