Some info on the kind of management we have here, Cay Horstmann Ph.D. Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Cay Horstmann joined Preview Software in 1997 and has been with Preview Systems since the mergers of Preview Software and Portland Software in August 1998. Prior to joining Preview, he was the President of Horstmann Software, a developer of technical word processing software. Mr. Horstmann is a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at San Jose State University. Mr. Horstmann worked as a columnist for C++ Report and Java Report, as a consultant for C++ and Windows Programming, and as an instructor for Technology Exchange/Acm professional training courses. He has authored many books and magazine articles, including Core Java. He received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, an M.S. in Computer Science from Syracuse University and a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel, Germany.
