Ali,

Thanks for your post. In answer to your question, Intel is set up to do large volume manufacturing and this means the yield requirements (the important factors to high-volume manufacturing) create design requirements which AMD doesn't necessarily have. Since I am not an engineer, others can say this better than me, i.e.
