prune - to trim, to cut back to desired shape

For many investors just learning the systematic approach that AIM teaches gives them a bit leg up on their future investing. Even if they don't stick to it forever, it probably will have taught them good procedures that will carry on to profitability at other times.

Learning how to face that brain killing FEAR of a down market and buy into it properly is a major benefit. Letting AIM teach how to prune the profits from the investments without getting too greedy is another major lesson well learned.
