Hi Keith,

Mutual Fund distributions can be made with new shares of stock. If that is the case, update Newport by bringing up the fund in question, then click on the Maintenance window, then enter the TOTAL number of shares in the share box (total = current shares + distribution shares).

If you look at the graph immediately, it may give an invalid sell signal. Go into Maintenance MENU and then click on Fix a Price then click on the fund in question. Change the latest price to the distribution price.

This is how I did my mutual funds last week.
