George, my dear, none of can get out life alive. O.K., we all know this; it's a given. There is no need to court disaster or to neglect maintaining the physical shell that we have. We do not know if there is any spiritual existence beyond the life we live in the here and now. Some people believe that there is another plane on which we have always existed. But if this is all we have, then we had damned well better cherish it and take care of it. It's all we know that we have and we should make our lives something more than simply being carbon-based beings that existed for a blink of time. We owe it to ourselves to be the most we can and to care for ourselves because of the wisdom and joy we can impart while we live. Call the doctor ASAP.
