Ed-A:
You are being all too concerned. And I love you for it.
Let me take this thought of yours: "We do not know if there is any spiritual existence beyond the life we live in the here and now. Some people believe that there is another plane on which we have always existed."
There is no doubt in my mind that we all continue - as part of the cosmos, or all, or any word one wants to choose.
Our particles are comprised of numberless other particles. When you inhale a fart, your body adopts parts of another's body, and the elements that were nourishing that other body. Spiritual survival, coming back to life as we once were, is such a silly item. We, without a single question, are a part of the totality - and as we rot in a grave or however, we feed worms, nourish plants, enter the local and cosmic systems particulately.
This gives me no problem, protecting the status que.
What I did was stupid, because the ear hurts now. And it is a half-assed way to return to the universe - in a challenged stage.
