Exclusive partnership with Concentric Network, paying CN $41,667 per month for co-branded marketing while CN agreed to purchase $700,000 in advertising on the Register.com website. Staples is a business partner and major shareholder. Register.com, like all new registrars, must pay a $6 registry fee to former monopolist Network Solutions per 2-year domain name registration. - Netconductor.com
