Long-term investors never sell -- and market timers and asset allocators (which AIM is) have a tough time beating the buy and hold strategy. Buy stocks when you have money available to buy, and you'll end up receiving the rewards of all the hard work we all do to advance our technology and society.

I don't disagree with you, Steve. Nor do I disagree with the AIM strategy, which has been selling into the year-end rally and buying into the bond slump (correct me if I'm wrong, Tom). My strategy is much more short term, that's all. That's what my models are. I will likely be in cash only for a short while, until I begin to feel this dip has ended, based on my market models.
