What a sudden shift! Suddenly the entire NASDAQ is being dumped as though it was the Internets 9 months ago! And this has to be the big professionals, the pension funds et al. A nearly 5% divergence today between NYSE index and NASDAQ?

Reminds me of the day I was bike riding with my son past a herd of Holstein dairy cows. One of them decided to run away from us -- but the selected direction by this particular cow was parallel to us. Before you knew it the entire herd was running "away" from us by running side-by-side with us as we rode down the road. Had they just stood in place, the greatly feared phenomenon (our presence) would have disappeared in no time. But because this apparently important and very "smart" cow decided to run, everyone had to do it, resulting in a stampede attempting to cross a narrow land bridge over a stream that separated two fields!

By the way, I bought back in today, to the NYSE/S&P via FFIDX (Fidelity Fund). I exited the NASDAQ clone FDEGX on Tuesday.

I think it's going to be an interesting year!
