Okay, okay. Unless someone wants to make up a new rule, I guess utilities don't really need to have a dividend. Just seems kinda unAmerican (or unCanadian, etc.) to me. Yeah, it's sorta, you know... wrong. Out of curiousity, where does one invest for income? What I'm wondering is if utilities decrease their yield, won't that alter the supply and demand ratio of yield bearing equities? Would the relative value of say REITs increase? And the special situations that pay hefty dividends? Maybe this is an arena ripe for price appreciation. Or maybe its late and I've still one more goofy idea to promptly forget. Anyway, Rick, I honestly hope your utility stock appreciates almost as fast as mine. Regards, TBG Paul
