t.v.---well, i thought i might offer up my '99 results since that seems to be en vogue here on the board. so here we go:

stock '99 opening price '99 closing price

C --- 33.12* --- 55.68
COTT --- 3.53 --- 5.25
FUSMX --- 20.86 --- 49.13
BDT --- 3.31 --- .146
DIS --- 30.00 --- 29.25
HMT --- 10.37 --- 8.25
INSP --- 19.06* --- 214.00
IDTI --- 6.125 --- 29.00
IRC --- .07 --- .08
MAS --- 28.75 --- 25.375
PETM --- 11.00 --- 5.75
XLNX --- 16.28* --- 45.67
XIRC --- 22.25 --- 75.00
*adjusted for splits
these are positions held for at least one year. i closed posistions in GCTI, ROYCE, AMLN, CLE, DBRSY, HEC, HIRS, REGN, SDNA, SKYC AND FSII.

i started positions in NN, CD, GNSS AND IFCI.

since the holdings are scattered amongst various tax free and taxable accounts the weighted average return on wife's IRA was 108%, my IRA, 295%, taxable account #1, 57.9% and taxable account #2 66%.

the later taxable account is a "buy and hold" account. both IRA's are a combination of AIM and B&H and taxable account #1 is pure AIM.

a couple of more years like '99 and i will go from steve in socal to steve at the sands in hawaii!

best regards,

hoping in humboldt
