Genomics subthread already getting stale?
Celera and HGSI are about it on teevee.
Saw a "Genomics" group quote on CNNfn--
three quotes, the third was Curagen--enuf
already!

I own Axys (AXPH) and Genset (GENXY)
"pharmacogenomics"
These two stocks have lagged badly behind
the stock performance of the "Gorillas".

Queries on SAGE (that is a tool for gene
expression studies, not a stock symbol)
and GZMO here on SI will also lead to posts.

Thoughts welcome. I've already hit my target for
the year and have raised cash, increasingly convinced
that playing stocks has nothing to do with skill
or knowledge, but merely waiting until one's
picks finally get some good PR and the lemmings
throw themselves onto a symbol with a one word
description. Too cynical? I just did the same
thing with "pharmacogenomics", guilty!

I guess my question is whether I should own these
stocks now, hoping they'll tag along with the names
that the other 98% of 'investors' have been spoonfed,
or whether I keep raising cash and call it a day.

Here is a post from the munch thread

Maybe the best hope for laggards in the biotech and
genomic stocks is that Celera buys them all out?
However, doesn't it seem as though inflated shares
are not often well spent on aquisitions, the free
money just goes away when the market finally sinks.
