Yes it is very hard not to have a preconceived notion about a utility stock. I guess I'm only holding on to this one for the sentemential value. Back in the 60s when my little daddy got in to them they were "growth" stocks believe it or not. Hot items. His ENA split 3-4 times I think. Some analysts are predicting that they will someday become them again. By golly you have a good head on your GOOFI shoulders. You are absolutely right. Once utility prices start to cut dividends and drop in price the "incomers" will be looking for a new place to stash there wads. I have seen REITS and other such types of investments being courted already by the newsletter hypesters. New Plan Realty (NPR) is one frequently mentioned. It is yielding around 7% and is rated "1" for safety by value line. Sherrie has some Federal Realty Trust (FRT) but not a whole lot. HEY did you catch the blue light special in the KM parking lot today- WOWZIER!!! Broke 14 on a volume over 15M. A GOOFI success story. Quesdtion is is it an "interim" success story. I'll probably sell when it gets to 40. On second thought if it gets to 40 I may buy more. Later my friend.
