Is there anyone here that would be interested in a thread on pattern trading? I am not talking about triangles and such as talked about in any primer on charting. I am talking about flags, 1-2-3 style tops and bottoms, ledges, and so forth, much of which is not really that properly documented in print, and some setups that I have seen not documented anywhere at all. The thread would discuss and be a forum for sharing information on the real life issues that are involved with pattern trading, and any observations and ideas that any trader is willing to share with the thread on this topic. Focus will be on the SPOOs but need not be limited to this market, for much that will be discussed I am sure can be applied to other markets.

As an additional thought, markets can be described by the patterns (setups) that do show up and the way they trade, which is part of the underlying structure of the specific market. Perhaps as another objective of the thread, we can take different markets out there and show what makes them up and how they can be traded using patterns, like the SPOOs and the NASDAQ Futures markets for a start. Just a thought.

I am no expert on these topics. So the thread will require other willing informal participants to make this happen. So I am here to find out the interest level I can expect for this type of thread. If anyone is interested, please send me a p-mail (private mail).

Thank You

Bob Graham
