The consolation for anyone bullish on the market who reads my ramblings of the afternoon is that when I begin to get apprehensive about macro-economic factors such as inverted yield curves, shorts getting hammered and so on, it is a sure sign that the coast is clear for further upside:)

The interesting thing about the past two or three days is that we seem to be developing a fairly clear demarcation among some of the people who I have followed as to the outlook for the market -- and it seems to be rather evenly split between those looking for some substantial upside or significant downside. The only commonality seems to be that what is likely to unfold is a large move -- with an even split on the direction.

I know that you usually do not have the time to post during the week, but if you should see anything that offers further confirmation of direction, please post a couple of lines, if you are able to squeeze that into your schedule.

I don't see a crash scenario developing either -- the environment today is very different than that which existed in '87. But that day will for me be one that I shall not forget -- in a way, perhaps every generation should at some point be witness to something on those lines, if only to make them aware of the risks inherent in the markets.
