I gleaned this systems on a chip info from the SLR thread. Message 12793373 Maybe it is one of the reasons SLR bought Smart. But it does indicate that you want the ECMs who stay current with the latest tech and are not just board stuffers. FLEX appointed a new head tech guy (in thenews today) and seems to recognize the importance of staying current. Two years ago the systems on a chip subject were discussed some on this and other ECM boards, I seem to recall. Rich
