Yesterday was what I now think of as a stretchmark day ... sellnow.net ... It pushes the action of the charts sideways. Today becomes yesterday. Well, not quite, because the reality of yesterday always has an effect on the possibilities for today and beyond. But it's not a bad rule of thumb: stretchmarks push the count sideways. With 4th Quarter productivity gains up a whopping 5%, and production costs actually down in the 4Q, it looks as if the charts are at least starting off OK. Should be an interesting day, probably tough on the bears. The
short-term trend ... sellnow.net ... on the Cash S&P market at the close yesterday hinted at this sort of gap up opening. There is an excellent chance that it will be a breakaway gap, too ... sellnow.net .... trade safe.
