I believe that the cooler is the most expensive part of the whole system. The actual superconducting filters are cheap comparatively on a continuing cost basis. For a stab at the best-case potential market figures check out the ISCO, SCON and CDTS releases. I don't know who ISCO uses to get cold but SCON (I think) uses in-house coolers and CDTS uses HELX. It would be my guess that the HELX appreciation up till now is mostly the AMAT aura. Any CDTS aura probably hasn't shown up in the price of HELX much yet (of course it may never) <gg>.

ClearSite receivers incorporate a proprietary NOC-compatible (Network Operations Control) alarm and bypass system that allows the operators to remotely monitor performance. Unlike other superconductive receivers and many conventional receiver front ends, ClearSite gives the operations center predictive capability without incurring hours of windshield and field service time.

So the ClearSite already has something similar, which may have come from the relationship, I don't know.
