Thanks, the situation I described was real and I had been contemplating more Machivellian theories in the hopes of finding some clever trading strategy. I had not been comfortable with any of those I had been considering, but your discussion on the matter was helpful.

Are you folks sitting on the sidelines, short or long? I've been dipping in and out of long positions, largely successful, but anticipating a pounding on the NAZ to begin next week.
