Great idea for a site! Now if only investing amatures would keep an eye on this site. In 1953 Merril Lynch was doing exactly what the movie described. I got sucked in exactly like the family man in the movie, except when I realized the scam taking place I wrote to the Attorney General of Texas, at the time, and soon the broker called and said they had sold my penny shares at a slight profit and were would I like the money sent! Yea, and guess where Merril Lynch is today......Then it was Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Bean, later Bean gave his seat to a guy named SMITH (his son in law) who earlier in his career had been my broker/salesman! hahahaah Buyer Be Aware
