Or, as I have done a few times, string the brokers along with a couple of calls until they inevitably give you a few of their "picks." Yeah, many don't until you send them $ to open an account, but I always get one who'll spill the beans on what the recent "house stocks" are.

They make great, great short sale candidates. :)
