The Financial Times today had a big piece on Pacific Century Cyberworks. I tried to get it offline and paste it here but the FT website crashed my computer three times.

The heading of the article was CHINA ON THE LINE, The backing of Beijing was a crucial element in the audacious bid by Richard Li's Pacific Century Cyberworks for Hong Kong Telecom.

Authors of the piece are Rahul Jacob and James Kynge.
