just for kicks, i tried to dig up some info on the old lucent court case. apparently the appeal is being handled by scott thomas of the austin office of thompson & knight, llp. you can reach them at (512)469-6100.

this is being handled by the US court of appeals for the federal circuit. you can go to their web site at fedcir.gov and click on the "new cases filed in the last 90 days" link to find the following listed:

apparently there will be 3 or 4 months of filing briefs before any interesting hearings.
