Hi Tom, I would give my left nostril to attend the first A.I.M. convention but it looks impossible. My wife is an educator and she will be in school at that time. I don't get much of an opportunity to travel so when I do I would enjoy the festivities much more with my sweetheart in attendance. Who knows maybe I will win a lottery and I can convince her to retire! Question: My son in law recently returned to college and will be studying finance . We come up with the wildest ideas . He asked me this A.M. over coffee how much $ you needed to start a mutual fund. I guessed, oh maybe $100,000. My next thought was it would be neat to start a fund and see if the A.I.M. investment style could be used. Most people would complain about the tax consequences. His next thought which he shared with my daughter,his wife, was The Fox could be the guy pictured on the Mutual Fund pamphlets because with all of the gray hair everyone would trust him.
