Thanks for your evaluation. Since it would cost me $.04 a a share to buy more, and there is no assurance that I could get the stock at $1.69, the deal becomes dicey. This is expecially true since we are getting ATI stock which I don't particularly want and since we would have fewer shares the cost of liquidating the position would probably be greater. If it were a cash deal, I think that it might be worth a shot, but then the arbs probably would have bid it up already. I have other stocks with higher potential that I think I would prefer to deal with. Hopefully, I will be able to use the tax loss.
