Dynamotion (publically traded under DYMO)was recently acquired in January 1997 by ESI, Electro Scientific Industries (NASDAQ-ESIO). DYMO (founded in 1985), is a producer of mechanical drilling and hi-end routing systems primarily used in the semiconductor and electronics industries to create electrical interconnects in printed circuit boards and electronic packages. ESI presently offers a laser process for creating micro- interconnections in printed circuit boards and electronic packages.

The combination of Dynamotion's mechanical products and ESI's laser based products form a platform for the complete solution offering to the printed circuit board and electronic packaging market. Should be one to watch from the ground up and up.....
