One of the top guys (sorry, didn't catch the name but it was either Roberts or Ebbers) said on CNN last night no way would they sell off UU, which he described (correctly) as a one of WCOM's crown jewels.

This stock looks to me like one of the biggest bargains on the Nasdaq. The market appears to be returning to an earnings focus, killing high flyers with no earnings or 3-digit P/Es and snapping up low-P/E earnings machines.

The uncertainty over the wireless, which WCOM desperately needs to resolve (either with FON or some other target), plus the obvious long-term decline in the revenues available from long-distance voice traffic are the only clouds.

I bought WCOM Monday at 42ish. It's not at all far-fetched to think this stock could double in 6 months with continued good earnings and the wireless uncertainty removed.

Just my opinion, not investment advice.

Cheers!
