Dear BG: I enjoyed reading your post. Isnt it INCREDIBLE how life has changed? I was born in 1943 and while we had a phone, indoor and outdoor plumbing, and a car I certainly remember that crank phone, the first T/V IN TOWN and we ALL went to that persons house to watch the few shows available. We travelled little as roads poor, cars unreliable. etc etc. Nice to reminiesce. Best thing about the good ole days (other than they are gone! haha) is that people were far more neighborly and close then they are today. JDN

PS: I grew up with my Great Aunt in the household. She was old enough to remember the Indian Wars. I used to sit at her knee in Awe and listen to stories about Custers Last Stand and all. That same lady lived to see a man on the moon. Incredible huh!!
