Dear El, I dont think you see the point I am trying to make.Yes there was a reaction to the anouncement I imagine most every one expected something bad to happen, it is after all Microsoft.
What I mean is that by the time the market in ny opened the fall had already accured in London.It was accompanied by the tech. failure of the FTSE index so it was dificult to see what was going on.All in all not a fun day for many there.
