Instead of utilizing the current product line and developing them to their fullest potential, he's off chasing the Bugatti's, Rolls, and Lambos. True these marcs are great names that demand "great" pricing; I think he has forgotten what Volkswagen means. You know what would be a great car to import? A S3 twin turbo hatchback with quattro underpinnings. I would buy it for 23k to 28k.
