It is not physically possible for Intel to increase sales by 50-90%

You know he was asking you to name a part, any individual part, for which that was the case. Would it not be physically possible for Intel to increase its shipments of Willamette by 50%?

AMD had 200K left over from Q4. So that means that they have an additional 200K left over from Q1 for a total of 400K unsold Athlons. For the arithmetically impaired...

Ooh, the situation is even worse than you describe. These CC transcripts indicate that AMD produced 150K more than they sold in Q3, 200K more in Q4, and 200K more in Q1:

That's 550K of Athlon Classic in inventory at AMD and its distributors last month. Now are you sweating those AMD puts you sold?

Why not wait for the {Intel] earnings announcement next week to see how many processors they sold?

You know Intel won't breakout Cumine, Katmai, & Celeron sales like AMD does. They'll only name a gross number like 33 million.

Or maybe you're ignorant of that detail. You think Intel fabs are choked with SRAMs for their L2 caches.
