Jacob, good post. There is no comparison to At&T and WCOM.
Like compare CPQ with SUNW or even DELL.
AT&T is an old network, expesive to maintain.WCOM or Q or LVLT is a new one.
I do not think,we can take away communication or internet away.Every company, like F or GE and others, they RELAY on communication and fast data transfer. Teleconferencing, accounting, connection with subdivisions and many others.
Try to take it away and GE or F will lose their capacity very fast. What was already done by communication, you can't TAKE IT AWAY.
We can only expand further, not go behind.
WCOM is the winner and weaker AT&T means stronger WCOM.
Take the financial statements and do the math.
WCOM stock suffered today, only because of AT&T and sector weakness.
Market is weak and further weakness is possible.
Because of the market condition,I started to trade 10% of my large position in WCOM.I've sold yesterday at 46 and today, bought back 2% at close.I decided to play that 10% in/out using TA.
Yesterday was a clear sell signal...Doji Star.
Now we are siting on 20 EMA, 50 EMA is at 44 and at 48 is 200 EMA.Telecom sector is very weak.
I will be "replenishing" another 8% but not now.
BTW,I think, everyone knows that WCOM business is mostly in corporate users.
