Yep, and everyone is looking around trying to figure out why the markets are dumping, and trying to "wish" it back up. I just figured the odds were way in my favor that it would dump. No wishful thinking, just strategic defense, justified by my t/a work. And then I cash in the puts and go the other way..

But I like to be early, and buying all those puts on the spike Monday was a great idea. My worst performing short bet is up 150% since Monday (OEZQQ). I won't even mention where the best one is sitting.

As for the false signals, etc, the things to think about are we had in years past an easy FED bias and no inflation.
That ain't true this time...And maybe, just maybe, people are starting to see this. I really think we have passed the apex for the US economy for this cycle.

You have to be flexible in a market like this. Standing strong like an oak tree against the wind will get you toppled. Being a bamboo and bending with the wind is the way...

I just wonder what those numbers tomorrow will bring??
