I think the FED is up against the clock to get its rate hike thing done... So, 1/2 point this time and 1/4 to 1/2 point next time should do it unless the market tanks... Then, this hike will do it...

The FED doesn't raise rates between September and December in Presidential election years... While this is not written in stone, the track record is good on this one...

As to when the market will reverse up? Things happen faster these days then 15 to 20 years ago... I think we are a lot closer to a bottom than many Bears think... The 3400 area is holding reasonably well... There are two support areas below; 3225 and 2900... So, the worst case scenario is about 14.7% down from here... That would be a 43% decline from the highs... So, yes, I think we will begin to see a bottom and reversal in the next 6 to 8 weeks...

As for the Hot Subjects... I guess they must be factoring "Quality" into their calculations... : >
