Related story, and I swear this one is true. British Columbia was ruled by a right of center coalition called Social Credit for most of the period between 1952-1991. Their main source of strength was the up country folk who had a little organization called the "Socred Ladies Auxiliary" who met to discuss good works while the men folk were down and dirty with politics. Anyway in 1978, the ladies (dubbed the "Blue Rinse set" by the big city media) passed a resolution that "All Rapists should be circumcised". I am not making this up. Oh, the advantages of Christian Fundamentalism. So few words to learn. CD
