Hey again ex-Dilbert. I disagree with the valuation of Cree. It's expected to earn about $2 per share (year ending 6/2001). It's growing at about 60-120%, with new facilities being opened in the near future. Dominant growth rate, and proprietary technology (blue LED's & wafer markets).

It's undervalued strictly going by a growth to p/e basis. I would agree with you if the growth slowed down, but I have to respectfully agree to disagree with you on it being "very, very expensive". (It's p/e is less than its growth rate, how can that be very very expensive?) If you make that kind of statement, back it up with some numbers.

I can accept high valuations on a lot of stocks, but not this one. Would like to hear your argument on its valuation - as I'm always willing to sell or go short on an over valued stock.

Good board. advalorem
