Hi socal, tim and i were sitting around nursing something cold the other night and talking about AIM and the next "gabfest" Wish I had someone to sit around with nursing something cold, seams Tom is the only one that can Hang with me or Vice versa. You got me thinking about the next event. The Big Three? When, Where & Why? When, the survey's indicate 12, 18 & 24 months. IMHO our Guru has to make the decision and then organize a committee as he did for Vegas. Personally I don't think he needs to be burdened with this decision at this time. We started planning last Oct and we can start again this Oct. Call it the "Halloween Horse Apple Roast Committee". Where, Hey Hawaii would be great and certainly cheaper in my case than Vegas. But our goal is to maximize the participation as best we can. So we deal with all the same centralized issues again. Might should consider when school is out this time. Why? Now that is the key issue? Why are we doing this in the 1st place. Basically I think it is to create a lasting bond between us as Investors via AIM first and friends second. What about presentations? How much time do people need to scratch out their best for the next event. I said it before, the presentations in Vegas came from the heart & soul of the volunteers. There was such incredible personal conviction, you couldn't buy a better seminar any where. FWIW My own thoughts about the above. Do we really have to tie it to an Investing event like the Money Show? Aren't we as a group and investing event in our selves? I predict the challenge is on with the presentations and they will only get better and even more professional than the great ones we just experienced. I suggest that where ever we choose to gather that we always announce it publicly so that others main join us if they choose to. Last, I poked around Carnival Cruise Lines and forward the following.
