Like I should CARE??? You should. Your wife is trying, in a subtle way, to let you know that women notice how people dress, and that you should not only be aware of it, but make yourself presentable whenever you appear in public. When my husband was working, the people in the office knew the days I overslept by the way he was dressed. I'd get him to change when he came home for lunch. He'd wear a green polka-dot tie, tan shirt, red pants, and a navy blazer, thinking he was well dressed because he remembered to tie his shoelaces. I used to think he was colourblind, but later discovered he'd reach into the closet and pull out whatever came to hand without turning on the light. Truthfully, he just didn't care. Cheers, PW. P.S.
