Hi Tom, that cleared it up for me. I guess I realized when I updated Quicken Saturday, that my trades weren't as profitable as I thought. That made me think that I needed some counseling on the matter from the thread. I have been rounding in 10 share lots but I have been rounding up. I think that is the inherent nature of Greed & impatience.

Potentially I could have one sell ticket tied to three FIFO buy tickets or more! That would make me crazy.

When I did it on a spread sheet it drove me crazy, I couldn't stay up with the formula's.

But now I'm totally relying on Quicken. Sure hope the software is idiot proof. :^0)

I do realize that the low profit trades I view now are going against the original shares. So probably down the road when they are extremely profitable, I'll have a different problem to confront.
