Development of the process has been expensive and took longer than expected. In order to complete development of the first production facility in the USA the technology was transferred in December 1998 to a 50% owned joint venture company named Metals Investment Trust, Ltd. (MITL). MXAL provided its technology and MITL provided $4,000,000 in cash. The first production unit is scheduled to be operational at East Chicago, IN in May/June 2000 where first year revenues of circa $20,000,000 are projected. The need for dezincing is nation wide as well as worldwide and we project that with 33 plants operating by 2003 MITL's revenues could exceed $300,000,000 with after tax profits of circa $50,000,000. STATUS Metal Recovery Industries Inc. has now concluded the Settlement Agreement whereby Meyado is providing funding of $2,600,000 as an equity investment in Metals Investment Trust Ltd. to complete the construction of the commercial dezincing facility at East Chicago, Ind.
