Di. That is so funny and so true. On March 29, 1999, the first time the Dow closed over 10,000, I was driving from San Francisco to Sacramento. I stopped to get gas in Pleasanton, pulling before a credit-card-only pump. Well, I've been living in Oregon seven years, and gas is pumped by attendants. It took me a few minutes to figure out what to do. Just as I took out my card, the price went from 1.79 to 1.89. lolol
