I don't know what his track record is. In seven or eight months, we will find out how good a call this was. I think the timing of the call is very poor. We had record worldwide semiconductor sales in May, which is an historically weak month. In a couple weeks, many semiconductor companies will be reporting record quarterly results for what is historically their weakest quarter. And the kicker is, we are heading into the seasonally strongest part of the season, so we get at least six more months of record results.

The sly part about Joseph's call is that he predicting weakness in 6 to 9 months. That just happens to coincide with the first quarter, which is typically a down quarter from Q4. So Joseph will be able to claim he was "right", because of an effect that happens every year. He is very sneaky indeed!!!

I expect to here the word allocation a lot in the second half of this year. At that point, this call will be irrelevant.
