Ira-- I find it interesting that a Chilean Ministry announced yesterday their intentions to increase copper production by 5% next year, despite expectations of a 3 1/2% increase in demand. I may not be a math whiz, but I can figure out what it means to the supply-demand ratio. Your cautious position on copper is supported by information. As much as I like resources, I'm still looking (sorry, gold looks early). I live close to the suburban campus of Weyerhaeuser's World HQ; am surrounded by numerous Douglas Fir lightning rods. And lumber doesn't appear timely either. Any favorite resource equities, Ira (or anyone else... platinum, Mr. Grasshopper)? Would steel be considered as a resource? The market is loaded with almost ripe GOOFS, I think. Regards, TBG Paul
